Sold

This coat rack sold through the Heartwood Gallery this past weekend.  Ironically, the day after I went down there and took this picture.

I just wanted to say, for posterity sake, that it was an absolute BOOGER to make.  I covered it with Homer Laughlin's Harlequin pattern dishes, c. 1950s, a sister pattern to Fiestaware.  I had a Mondrian image in my head when I started it, which explains the red squares I included.  I watched the Imelda Marcos biography and the Collin Farrell biography on Hulu while I worked on it, so all I think of is shoes and cuss words when I look at it.

And that, my friends, is all I have to say about this particular mosaic.
