My name is Vanessa, which means butterfly.
I am rebellious, relentless and creative in my hope for a world that actually is what it could be, physically and spiritually, which has led me to my work as pastor and artist. I am also a wife and mother of four children, three biological, and one adoptive. In the spring of 2017, my husband began his campaign as a candidate for US Congress, district 3. I write to help myself make sense of it all, and I am happiest when I am drinking coffee, working in my garden in my bare feet or lost in a project that makes the world more beautiful.
