oh man! Socks with holes in them are the worst! How can you stand it?! As soon as one of my socks get the tiniest hole in it....it goes in the trash can.
Honey..I BUY Socks that look EXACTLY like that for my kids dance classes. The toe part can curl back so they have their toes and the heel part scooches back so they have the Heel toe connection during jazz...or is it tap? or..ballet...
Oh my goodness. you are hilarious. I am a nutcase about holes in socks. . . as soon as there is the tinyest hole its in the trash. I do, however, have fond memories of my grandma "darning" our socks.
my feet are so bad, I don't usually feel the holes until one of my toes gets stuck : )
I've been making an effort to get rid of the holey ones, but I just like these ones so much! AND I never buy socks for myself. Robb always gets them for me for Christmas, but this year he didn't.
so they stay a little longer. Maybe I will darn them : )
I generally don't throw away socks with the heels gone until they pretty much disintergrate in the wash. Now the ones with holes around the toes get tossed pretty quickly, but then we also make rags out of socks so they can be around the house a very long time after they've ceased to function as socks.
