News story about my parent's church
This is a newspaper story about the church where I grew up. Instead of VBS this year, they decided to do a week of community projects to help local people. My mom has organized the baby-quilt making, which I am really proud of her for. You never know how these little seeds of love can sprout!

Awesome, just awesome! God's body at work in the community, touching lives, and serving with their whole hearts.
Now thats what I'm talking about! That is the "body" doing what it was meant to do. Maybe I'll post that on my blog too...
Vanessa, I went to Calvary and found your blogspot through the alumni connection. Your blogs are hilarious, encouraging and so realistic...thanks for sharing your thoughts. I was so impressed with the article in the paper..that is what Christianity is really about...loving EVERYONE and reaching outside the church.
