...but unhappiness is like a skunk....when you least expect it, it will reach out and smack you up the side of the head for no good reason, lingering in the air with its foulness until you do something radical about it.
Well, in the metaphorical sense, nothing. I got Vin's cold and my feet are still freezing and I'm as cranky as I look.
But, for Sid, I did wash her in a mixture of baking soda, hydrogyn peroxide and dish soap, which did the trick; but then she went out and played with Clementine (our neighbor's dog) who was actually sprayed with the skunk and Sid got all skunked up again. I think I'm getting used to it.

well, I am between "skunks" so life is feeling pretty light and airy. My "skunk" is church sadly...and I keep going back...
