Now that the holiday is over, I can show you the mosaic presents I made this year. The picture collage shows my mom's side of the family and covers 6 generations.
okay, I LOVE LOVE LOVE my cake plate but I can't help but see what the other girls got and I want theirs too now. I guess I'm gonna have to rig the Christmas drawing for a few more years....
Oh man, I am really feelin' the mosaic love. So... how do you break the china?? I mean, I'm envisioning tiny, splinter-like shards everywhere. There must be a trick. I have saved stuff like this in my craft room that is in desperate need of being organized. I'm really feeling the organization post that came after this. And yes, it really is almost 3am. Last year ('08) for Christmas we gave a lot of books - many the library sale ones for 25 cents. And some hand-made. I'm thinking we could come up w/ some serious gifts... I'm so glad none of our family are reading your blog, lol!
