4. Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve posted your answer.

THE QUESTIONS:

What were you doing five years ago?
It was five years ago that I signed up to try selling on eBay. I had gone to an auction with Robb and lost my head bidding on a dishpan full of antique silverplate flatware. I won the auction for 12 dollars and then thought..."what the heck am I gonna do with these?" Since Vin was 2 and Mattie was 3, I still had a couple of free hours in the afternoon while they napped...and thus it all began. My first sale was a metal thermos for 99 cents. I borrowed the digital camera from church which held 8 pictures.

What are five things on your to-do list for today?

What are five of your bad habits?
1. procrastinating

2. stock-piling things I'll use "someday."

3. getting lost in blogging instead of doing something productive

hey, don't knock it until you try it! Cottage cheese is low-fat, right? so that's the way to make your Dorito consumption low fat : ) It's also good if you also pile on alittle sloppy-joe meat. A kind of bizzaro nacho thing.

Ah yes, bless the Amish...can't have telephones in their houses, but CAN have them in their outhouse, corn-crib, or barn. Also, not allowed to drive their buggies down-town for fear of spooking horses. So my job, (age 15) was ...
ring ring
"Hello, this is Vanessa at Meadville Farm and Garden
(what kind of English name is Vanessa, they wonder)
and I was wondering if you folks needed a delivery of horse feed or anything else today?"

If they picked it up right away, you knew the outhouse was occupied!
eek!!!!

ha ha....
I love ANY KIND of chips with cottage cheese. I thought I was the only person who did this!

BTW, my hubby grew up in an Amish community with many Mennonite relatives. His dad "hauled" Amish after he retired from his real job. I always had to laugh, they could ride in a car, but could not own or drive one....
but yeah, we have lots of Amish stories.... :)
