So quite by accident, but a lovely accident...we've been reading Bible stories to the kids for the last couple of weeks. It actually started with Vin's lust for more information about the Ark of the Covenant and anything else related to Indiana Jones. (huh, what a novel idea...using something your kid is already interested in to show them about God....but I digress)
So tonight I wildly impressed them with rattling off the Books of the Bible in under a minute (ok, I missed 1 & 2 Peter...it's been awhile). They were super impressed and I told them I'd give them a dollar if they learned them (Hey, I learned them so I could win first prize at Vacation Bible School ...a super cool backpack.) Anyway...I'm digressing again...
So they were trying to get the first five...repeating them after me, then trying on their own...
Says Vin, "Genesis, Exodus..." and a thoughtful pause where he applies his mighty, mighty brain to come up with the strange and lumpy title of Leviticus...
but the pause stretched a bit too long, and Charleigh helpfully supplied...
"Mike Wyzowski!"
