When James writes about counting it a joy to fall into temptations, I don't really picture those temptations coming in the form of the dog running through the house with muddy feet and Vin pouring syrup all over his shoe.

i've felt the same way lately. i have such a good life, really, and yet something goes wrong and it just ruins my day or at least makes me cranky for a little bit, that's crazy! luke and i don't ever fight and agree on pretty much everything...and yet somehow, we still end up having to apologize to eachother for something or other every few days. we are definitely not as strong as we think we are.
That songs been running through my head a lot lately.
Amen...I have been studying 2 Cor. about how paul saw that his adequacy comes from God and not himself...I really needed that reminder!
