When we four kids were hungry teens, Mom would make a huge bowl of taco salad for lunch on Sundays. When I say huge I mean like an 8 quart stainless steel bowl full, which, if we had friends over, she would just throw more chips into. We would heap our plates and just eat until we couldn't stuff any more in. We all laughed our heads off the day my sister crawled away from the table and lay down on the living room floor, a few feet from the table.
"What are you doing?" mom asked her.
She patted her tummy and groaned as if it was taking all of her mortal power to do so,
"I'm digesting."
There's all this stuff that is happening or not happening right now. God has been setting the table to teach me something, feeding me information, and I just feel stuffed with it. And I can't really blog about it because right now, I'm just lying on the floor trying to digest it.

Many times when God is trying to teach me something, if I talk about it, it's like going swimming before the food has settled. It only hurts more; if I sit quietly and wait...I am able to handle those things a little better.

you are still alive???? I'm always scared to call and wake you up... you call me whenever. You'll be able to tell by the din in the background if it's a good time or not : )
okay. did you get my email about this weekend? that puts being alive in perspective. check fox news about what happened at Duquesne U. Saturday if you didn't. I was there.

I know, Hon, but I DID survive, okay? Hey, btw, I've got the "big meeting" on Friday morning with the boss. I may be resigning but he seems to think we can work something out....I don't know what that means exactly so please pray
