Charleigh's first real word

I was just starting to worry about Charleigh not using any real intelligible words the other day (other than MAMA!!! which is not a reference to me, but rather I WANT THIS"). I was going to check my "What to expect" book, but I realized I packed it already. While giving Charleigh her breathing treatment, she started to scream (I'm not exaggerating, the girl screaches) because she wanted to play with something while strapped in the chair. I figured it was a dance with futility, but I said, "Say PLEASE." She's been signing "please" for awhile, but instead, she stopped screaming, looked at me thouhgtfully and said, "Peas." I have Robb as a witness, and now that I've blogged it, I don't have to worry that I'll forget her first real word.

I am pretty sure Vinny's first word was "infralapsarianism."

Are you sure it wasn't "consubstantiation"?

I think I like Vinny's made up word the best. The one with muck or something like that in it.

My mom was worried that my brother tommy wouldn't speak. He was like 3 or 4 and never said a word. She took him to the doctor, and he said..well ..why in the hell should he speak...he points goes DAH..and 5 people jump..so the test was on NOBODY was to get him ANYTHING without him talking. As this tremendous change took place...His first..SENTENCE after being ignored by those previously jumping to his aid was..."Will SOMEBODY get me a DAMN glass of water?"..LOL

I think that was Mattie....she was still in her walker (age nine months) when she started talking. She said "Stuch" because she was stuck and could get the walker to roll. She was also a victim of corporate marketting as every time we passed McDonalds, it was "Fries?"

Vin's first word was "Wizzit?" As in "what is it?" His endless search for knowledge you know...as he sits at Robb's laptop watching snips of how they made the new Chronicles of Narnia.

infralapsarian was a good guess, Honey.
