What I Made Today

While my leftover are warming in the microwave, here's a snap of what I made today:

I printed off three signs on photo paper I found lurking in my drawer.  I cut a matte to go inside the antique frame (it had square nails holding wood not cardboard on the back!)  to frame the main sign and rewired the back.

Then with three pieces of decorating fabric from a fabric swatch book I found at the thrift store, I made this money-holding apron.  When I do shows, I don't like to have to worry about hiding a money box somewhere in my booth and let's face it, nothing screams "boutique"  like a fanny pack (NOT)!   The pocket has four sections: two for money and spaces for cell phone and a calculator.

Everything looks great. I had a dream last night that you took me to some sort of thrift store only for serious thrift shoppers. I was following you around while you asked for keys to "secret rooms." You finally ended up finding the largest, pinkish, polka-dotted gown I've ever seen and being really excited about it. BIZARRE. This working a full time job thing is creating craziness in daily life AND in my dreams. :)
