I have a new little pink

cellphone.

Yeah, my old one was four years old and was good for a sizeable trade in amount. It was starting to get cranky with me.

Now, I put it to you...what should my ringer be?

No pressure or anything, but how do I sum up my personality for everyone to hear?

My old ringers, by the way, were the Alias theme song and the McGyver theme song.

Thoughts?

i have bittersweet symphony by the verve for my ringtone - unless my kids change it on me without me knowing it!!

i figured since you were such a big u2 fan, that you'd have something by u2... how about beautiful day or when love comes to town...

or if you're wanting a tv theme.... LOST!!!!!!!!!!!

I never knew the name of that song before, but I just went to itunes...like that a lot

Robb has "Vertigo" for his ringer and A has something too...

I just down downloaded Tom T Hall's "Me and Jesus" from itunes which would be a hilarious ringer.

or Johnny Cash's
"It ain't me, Babe."

I have the following:
When Robb or V call: Vertigo
When Jaye T. calls: Ring of Fire by J. Cash
When anyone else in my phonebook calls: Beautiful Day by U2
When anyone not in my phonebook calls: With or Without You by U2

Hence I have a pretty good idea who is calling before even looking. I hear a lot of Ring of Fire and Vertigo, by the way.

Since the A team is a new favorite...that's always good...or some fun party song like.."Let's get it started."

You can make your own ring tones. Here are some that I have...

Steph (wife): Either Black Dog by Led Zeppelin, Feel Like Makin' Love by Bad Company, or Talk Dirty to Me by Poison (my fav)

Brother: Uncle Rico theme from Napoleon Dynamite

Doc Roc (our old prof, he lives close): Somebody's Watching Me by Rockwell.

Cookie (his wife): Maneater by Hall and Oats

Those with caller ID: theme from What's Happenin'

Those without: Who Can it Be Now by Men at Work

I have some hilarious tones for text and pix messages too.

Bookie, your tones for the Rockwell's made me laugh out loud, and the fact that you get to talk to them often made me jealous. Please say hello to them from me.

Such a small world. Doc Roc is a pastor at my parents church and their Sunday School teacher = )

Hi, Heidi! Long time no see. I live about 30-40 minutes from Emmanuel now. Say hi to Tim for me... we talked on the phone about a year ago or so.

A, I'll pass my greetings on to Doc for you.

Other ring tones I have are Mr. Roboto by Styx, The Dukes of Hazzard theme, Tom Sawyer by Rush, Sanford and Son theme, Mission Impossible theme by Larry and Adam from U2, and Just a Friend by Biz Markie.

"Hi, Honey! What did you do today?"

"Well, I made about 12 ringtones for my phone. I know there's no supper and the house is a mess, and I didn't make any money on ebay today, but I have The Beatle's "hello hello" as my ringer and I did it all by myself, thanks to Bookie!"

Who needs reunion dot com?

Speaking of reunions, sounds like we all need to meet at Memphis in May. It seems like that would be half way between Ohio and NW Arkansas???

Friends & BBQ . . .
