Yeah, i've needed a couple of miracles, and have had them all fulfilled but in different ways than I had expected.

Bet you didn't expect someone to come to your door tonight with a turkey in one hand and a check in the other?!

A, I could just hug you.

Yes, A, You're some kind of miracle.

Just try not to nibble anything off any more hospital carts.

that doesn't sound yummy at all

he thought the babies were food carts.

I can't stop laughing...I'm sorry, A...I just can't stop...

well, babies ARE yummy, A, but you might get in some trouble with a post-partum mother if you nibble on her baby.

Ok, ok, have a laugh at my expense. In most hospitals the babies get rolled around in a certain kind of contraption, usually encased in a big plastic "bubble" sort of thing on top. This hospital is quite unique, and the cart looked more like a podium with a slanted top on it. There happened to be twins, swaddled quite tightly (see, I do know some baby vocabulary), and they were being wheeled past us as we were headed for the Murray's room. Remember, I'm the driven, focused one, trying to find a certain room as this cart rolls past, and I never gave it a thought. I just thougt is was a food tray on top of the cart with the napkins laid over the top of the dirty plates, until the people behind us started oohing and aahing. When I turned around it sunk in what had actually passed me.
Yeah, its funny, but I'm not a complete clod. After all, I was being pastoral at the time.

And it is about time that someone realized that I AM "some kind" of miracle. =)

well...I guess the need for the miracle diminished...is that a miracle? Not by our current theological definition, I guess. But, still, something happened, which after a year of more silence from God than anything, I'm relieved.

Yeah, and Court, sorry to disappoint that the check was shy by several zero's. I would if I could.
