Hair Apparent

Robb desperately needs a haircut, but he is pretty nervous to let me at it just yet.

Sometimes I am in a good hair place and sometimes, I'm not. Sometimes I can give a great cut that wears really well, and sometimes, I just don't quite get the image in my head before I start and something less than stellar occurs. Vin's most recent cut isn't my favorite. My sister got the worst one ever. Even Sara has gotten a butchering at least once from me. I tried to squeeze in a trim on Charliegh's bangs the other day, since she was already in the tub....I don't know if you've ever tried to snip a moving target, but the results were not good. Especially on her pretty, pin-straight locks. I tried to repair the damage on a second try, but it's gonna be at least two weeks before they even start to look right. And with my own mop, I decided to do a quick dye to cover my now grown out highlights, which had become pretty dry and obvious. I used a color I had been successful with before, but for some reason, it is a little too dark....really it is almost black and with a dash of red lipstick, I bear a striking resemblance to Snow White. I think I'll take a page out of Donna's book and go goth for a little while.

So yeah, Robb's hair...it might just have to wait until I'm back in a good hair groove. Or maybe I should go ahead...it'll be okay in two weeks.

ROBB!!! DON'T LET HER CUT IT!!! TRUST ME!!! My favorite line from Vanessa was "I'm just going to cut off an inch to get all your split ends...." 5 inches later....well! :) I love ya, Sis! :) Remember the time Pookie talked me into dying my hair while he was on leave and I looked EXACTLY like Snow White? That was bad....of course, two years later I was doing it on purpose, go figure! Remember how Ash would dye her hair so she'd look like what ever tv show she was infatuated with? At least your hair isn't "old lady purple."

hey! i liked the red hair! i was just a little obsessed at the time with fbi angent dana scully....

yeah, i remember snow white sitting in the bathroom with the door locked and the lights off and all i could hear was "oh sh**....oh sh**.....oh sh**"

robb, don't let ness even come close with those scissors... i was trying to be cool like her when i cut john's hair right before courtney and ron's wedding....we all remember that he had to shave it all off at that point, right?

wow, I had forgotten that about John's hair. Actually, Ash, you really did look like Dana...it was kinda scary. No, Robb, too many people have too many stories about Vanessa's aspirations to be a "beauty technician" (more like mad scientist) lol
man, the worst thing about that dye job was facing Mom...who promptly started laughing at me.

I seem to recall a certain college roommate of Robb's who cut a lot of hair, including his, during the college days. He still has his clippers, and only lives 1.5 miles away . . .

I like Vin's current haircut.

Mom, I know...plus when you called Gram to ask her if we could fix it--do you remember what she said? lol yeah, it was a dramatic moment; I pictured myself as Jo March "...my one beauty..." oh well!
Sara, I think if Robb shaved his head, he and A would look a little too much alike; it could be bad for Vintage if the leaders all look alike lol!

Mine's growing out thanks to wiffy's preference for something to run her fingers through . . .

If you were ever going to shave it, now's the time, since you'll be doing the whole Job thing this Sunday . . .
